Ruby red tending towards garnet; characteristic hints of small fruits like raspberry, as well as violet and dog rose; on the palate it is dry and austere, with just the right amount of tannicity, robust, with typical hazelnut and dried plum hints

The 2022 vintage in Valtellina was marked by challenging climatic conditions, with a particularly hot and dry summer affecting the production. Starting from May, the lack of water put the vines under stress, resulting in a yield reduction of about 10-15% compared to the previous year. Despite the difficulties, the grape quality was generally good, thanks to effective phytosanitary management that minimized damage from fungal diseases. The high temperatures and an early harvest contributed to good grape ripening, although the water shortage made the harvesting process more challenging.
Terrain Composition
Sandy clay, poor in humus and highly permeable. All these factors are favourable for aromas and preservation
