The wine

Made from our very own Nebbiolo grapes harvested from the rocky subarea of Inferno, nestled between Montagna, Poggiridenti and Tresivio, Inferno is our dry and rigorous red wine.

Tasting Notes
Ruby red tending towards garnet, with wilted rose and hazelnut hints; on the palate it is dry, austere, with delicate tannins, yet velvety and aromatic at the same time

The vintage

The year was characterized by an unusual climatic pattern. Temperatures were significantly lower than average between April and June, with abundant rainfall that made the spring particularly wet, affecting the growth of the vines. The vegetative phase was delayed, with recovery occurring later than usual. However, summer saw a marked change, with temperatures in mid-August reaching very high values (38-39°C), followed by a drop in temperature due to cold winds and heavy rainfall towards the end of the month, which allowed the vines to recover and complete the maturation process. The conditions in September remained warm, favoring an optimal ripening of the grapes until mid-October, with good preservation of their acidity.

Terrain Composition

Sandy clays, poor in humus and highly permeable. All these factors are favourable for aromas and preservation
