Made from our very own Nebbiolo grapes harvested from the precious subarea of the Rhaetian side north east of Sondrio, Grumello is one of our subtle and full-bodied red wines.

The vintage
Like the previous year, the 2021 wine year in Valtellina was characterized by persistent rainfall, which forced us to be very vigilant about plant protection. However, with a lot of time, great efforts and rigorous selection in the vineyard, we were able to bring in grapes of excellent quality. From an enological point of view, the wet vintage meant that the grapes produced a fresh and fruity must, as in 2020, which opens up interesting prospects for a very pleasant wine.
