Made from our very own Nebbiolo grapes harvested in the Upper Valtellina subarea, nestled between the Municipality of Castione Andevenno and the area west of Sondrio, Sassella Riserva is our intense and robust red wine.

The vintage
A memorable year due to a mild and rainy spring that gave rise to a perfect growth cycle, followed by a dry summer that enabled the healthy and excellent ripening of grapes. Under such circumstances, agronomic interventions and phytosanitary protection implemented in the autumn led to results that surpassed all expectations, culminating in what could be defined as one of the best vintages of the century.
