This vintage was characterized by a cool and rainy spring, which helped ensure a good water reserve in the soil. Although the summer saw higher temperatures, the temperature fluctuations between day and night created ideal conditions for a balanced maturation of the grapes. Despite their promising quality, however, the late rains in September caused some difficulties, reducing the harvest volume compared to initial expectations.
