The wine
Made from young Pink Muscat grapes raisined on the vine and harvested from the fields of La Gatta Estate in Bianzone, Il Vino del Presidente is our red wine that pays tribute to the former president of the Republic Carlo Azeglio Ciampi and his wife Franca, commemorating his institutional visit to the Estate in 2003.

Il Vino del Presidente
The vintage
This vintage was characterized by a cool and rainy spring, which helped ensure a good water reserve in the soil. Although the summer saw higher temperatures, the temperature fluctuations between day and night created ideal conditions for a balanced maturation of the grapes. Despite their promising quality, however, the late rains in September caused some difficulties, reducing the harvest volume compared to initial expectations. Overall, the quality has been very promising for the production of fresh and aromatic wines.
